RECOMMENDATIONS:-

  • Keep students home when unwell with fever, runny nose & productive cough.
  • Take simple hygiene and preventive measures like covering coughs & sneezes and maintain regular hand washing help reduce the spread of respiratory illnesses.
  • Tests to help you identify which virus may be present (influenza, RSV & Covid) are available at supermarkets & pharmacies.
  • Immunisations are available for many respiratory illnesses such as influenza (flu), COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

Please consider discussing with your GP, local pharmacies or council immunisation service.  It is never too late to get vaccinated.
