YEAR 10
Planning Your Journey

Head of Year 10 smcqueen1@cns.catholic.edu.au
Our Year 10 students are doing an amazing job, and it has been wonderful to see such strong participation, engagement and school spirit throughout the term.
St Mary's Day was a great success, with 10HE2 from Heavey House achieving the highest attendance rate of 95%. Congratulations also to Hutchinson House, who took out the overall win with an impressive 94% attendance across both Pastoral Groups.
Over the past few weeks, students have also taken part in our Guess the Songs Challenge. Congratulations to Cahill House for taking the win, with Murray House finishing a very close second. Our next House challenge will be a series of Kahoot quizzes, kicking off over the coming weeks, so get ready to compete!
Book Week Dress-Up Day is on Tuesday. Let's see which Pastoral Group can claim the title of best dressed! I hope our Year 10 students embrace the fun and set a great example for our younger cohorts by getting involved and showing them how it's done.
It has also been fantastic to see our Year 10 students demonstrating excellent punctuality, particularly during the recent whole-school punctuality focus.
Looking ahead, on Wednesday, students will participate in a full-day Leadership Skills Program, facilitated by UPP. This will be a valuable opportunity to develop leadership capabilities and build skills that will support students both at school and beyond. Students should wear their sports uniform for the day.
Keep up the great work, Year 10! We are proud of your efforts and look forward to seeing your continued success.
