House Competition
Last week, we started our House Competition with a highly contested paper aeroplane competition!
Cahill smashed the competition with an impressive throw that traversed the HOB, while Heavey and Murray took out second and third place respectively.
House competitions are a great way to build positive community connections. They give students a sense of belonging, uniting them around shared goals, friendly rivalry, and collective pride beyond their usual friendship groups.
Congratulations, Year 9!
We have now reached the halfway point of the term, and it has been wonderful to see so many Year 9 students actively engaging in school life beyond the classroom.
From representing St Mary’s in netball and touch football, to participating in last week’s Run Club Camp, our Year 9 students continue to show commitment, teamwork, and school spirit.
I am especially proud of those who showcased their talents in the St Mary’s Day concert, as your energy and enthusiasm added so much to our celebrations.
Musical - Frozen Jr
Finally, I wish good luck to our Year 9 students involved in our school musical Frozen Jr, who enter their final week of rehearsals this week before the show in Week 7! I can't wait to see all your hard work come together on stage!
