Notice of Principal's Upcoming Leave

Dear Parents and Carers,

I wish to advise our College community that I will be taking Professional Renewal Leave and Long Service Leave from 4 September, returning on 26 October.

During this period, Louise Shields will undertake the role of Acting Principal, and Leah Dewar will serve as Acting Deputy Principal. I am confident that, together with our dedicated staff, they will continue to lead the College with commitment and care.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our College community. I look forward to reconnecting with students, families and staff upon my return in Term 4.

The Feast of the Assumption - Holy Day of Obligation - 15 August 2026

Our Feast Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the SPIRIT that underpins our St Mary's Way and demonstrates our community's willingness to take up the challenge of Mary’s “Yes”.

Mass was celebrated by our new Parish Priest, Fr James Thazhoor, who spoke of the uphill challenges we face in life and the support we receive when we draw on our faith. A range of activities, along with our traditional talent concert, wrapped up our fun-filled community day.

St Mary's Day holds a special place among the fondest memories of our alumni community, and this year we are delighted to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. To mark this significant milestone, we invite our community to join us for a Family Fiesta this Sunday, 16 August, for a day of community, connection and celebration as we commemorate 40 years of St Mary's.
