Marrung - Aboriginal Education

Last week a group of our students spoke to a team of 6 principals about how Bunyip PS acknowledges out first nations people and how we embed an indigenous perspective into our curriculum. I was so proud of our student leaders and younger students for sharing their knowledge with the principal group. Following on from this Zeke, Hunter F, Logan K and Ethan K recorded an acknowledgement of country that was played to all principals and leadership staff in the Cardinia Network at their recent principal meeting.

School Closure Day on May 11th:

Just a reminder that on Curriculum Days, OSH will be able to provide a program for the day if they have enough students enrol. I suggest you consider enrolling early so that a program can be confirmed.  

Bike Rack:

We love to see our students riding to school. Given the recent theft of a bike, we would suggest that you send your chld with a bike lock to keep their bike safe.
