SWIMMING NEWS

27 grade 4, 5 and 6 students went to GESAC on Thursday 5th March to compete at the Moorabbin District Swimming Carnival. Our team did very well. We placed second and were only narrowly behind Bentleigh West by 4 points!

Congratulations to the following students who placed 1st in their event/s and will swim at the Kingston Division Swim Carnival on Tuesday 10th March at Carnegie Pool.

Anna Dong - Freestyle relay, Butterfly & Freestyle

Bella Xia - Freestyle relay & Backstroke

Emma Boyarovsky - Freestyle relay

Harriet Wright - Freestyle relay

Justin Zheng - Backstroke and Breaststroke

Demi Xie - Breaststroke and Butterfly

Well done to Justin who broke the record in backstroke and to Demi who broke the record in both butterfly and breaststroke!

DIVISION SWIMMING NEWS

Congratulations to Demi Xie who placed 1st in the breaststroke and butterfly at the Division Swimming Carnival. She broke the butterfly record as well!

Justin Zheng has also made it through in the breaststroke. 

We wish both students all the best when they compete at the Southern Metro Carnival on Wednesday 1st April.
