Closing Time of Morning Gates 

A reminder to parents about school morning routines. 

A supervising teacher will take the students to the undercroft at 8:10am. We ask that no students be on site before this time unless previously organised. 

The teacher on driveway duty and/or admin staff will close all gates between 8:40am and 8:45am. All students are expected to be on site by this time. 

The gates must be closed by this time due to safety protocols. 

If you arrive after this time the driveway system is no longer in operation and you must park your car and walk your child to the school office via the gate on Highfield Road. Admin staff will assist you in organising a late note for your child and this lateness will be recorded on Compass.  Students who are consistently late miss vital morning literacy instruction and can feel unsettled throughout the day. 

If you need any support in getting your child to school on time, please email your child's classroom teacher or myself. 

Reporting at Holy Family

Teachers are starting to put together Semester One reports for all students. These reports will be available via Compass at the end of Week Nine with interviews offered in Week Ten.

We will be offering an information session for Kindergarten and new parents to understand more about the reporting system at HF on Thursday 4th June at 5pm (Teams only).

During this 30 min session we will cover 

• reporting expectations
• CSBB universal reports
• reporting grades
• reporting effort 
• how to support your child
