Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,
Staffing Update
It is with mixed feelings that I share that Mrs Dalle‑Nogare will be taking Long Service Leave during Terms 3 and 4 this year. This is a well‑deserved break after more than 40 years of dedicated and generous service in Catholic Education, and we are delighted that she will have this opportunity to rest and recharge.
During this time, Miss Isabelle Harrison and Mr Ian Leach will be the Year 4W teachers. Both teachers are highly qualified and experienced educators who are very familiar with our school. They already know many of our students and school routines, which will support a smooth and positive transition. Mrs Simon will continue working at Holy Family one day per week in an Executive Release capacity, supporting Mrs Stella. We will ensure that this transition is managed carefully, with minimal disruption to student learning and continuity of experience.
We thank Mrs Dalle‑Nogare for her ongoing commitment and contribution to our school community and look forward to acknowledging her service before she begins her leave.
Mrs Trudi Webb will be commencing her maternity leave from next week. Trudi joined Holy Family at the beginning of this year in the role of Coding Teacher and in an Executive Release capacity. We thank her for her wonderful contribution to our school and wish her every blessing and joy as she prepares to welcome her baby.
We are pleased to advise that Mrs Kylie Norburn will commence at Holy Family next week in the role of Coding Teacher. Kylie brings with her strong experience in coding and STEM education, and we look forward to welcoming her to our school community.
Holy Family School Sports Committee
As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, we are exploring the possibility of establishing a School Sports Committee to support and strengthen the growing sporting culture within our school community. Thank you to the two parents who have already generously volunteered their time to be part of this exciting initiative.
The committee will act in an advisory capacity, supporting the school in planning and reviewing sporting events such as carnivals, gala days and competitions. It will bring together school leaders, staff, parents and student voice to help ensure inclusive, well‑organised and meaningful sporting opportunities for all students. Meetings will take place once a term.
If you are passionate about sport and would like to be involved, please let me know. pauline.dinale@dbb.catholic.edu.au
