School Sports - What's Happening

HOLY ROSARY CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS

On Friday the 2nd of May our school cross country was held at the Botanical Gardens. It was perfect weather for this event and every student should be incredibly proud of their efforts. The lead up training really paid off for the children and this was evident by the participation and results. It was also fantastic to see the support the students were giving each other and encouraging each other to get to the finish line.

The winning house this year was McAuley House (Green) by a very narrow margin of 4 points to Harte House (Red). A big thank you to the Year 6 students who supported our junior races and demonstrated outstanding leadership skills throughout the day. We were overwhelmed with the parent/friend support we received in both the junior and senior events, we certainly have a great community here at Holy Rosary.

The top 5 students in the senior events now qualify for the Division Cross Country on Friday, May 16th. A PAM note has been sent out for this event, we wish these students all the best.
