PROGRAM SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS (PSG'S)
The Term 2 Program Support Group (PSG) meetings have been scheduled and are available for you to view on PAM. The meetings will begin in week 5 of this term (Monday, 19th May).
The meetings provide collaborative discussions between school, home and external therapeutic support for students with additional needs within our school. These conversations support the goals and adjustments that are developed by your child’s classroom teacher to guide the learning that takes place within the school setting.
A gentle reminder that careful consideration and thought has been put in place regarding the scheduling of PSG meetings. Allocated PSG times are now accessible to view via the PAM app. Please note your appointment in your diary. All appointments will indicate that we will meet in person, however, you have the flexibility to change this option to ‘virtual’, feel free to contact me should you need my help doing this. mantoniadis@hrwhitehills.catholic.edu.au If you choose to meet with us online, please click on the link provided in PAM at the time of your meeting.
A reminder that all PSG meetings take place on Monday’s and run for 35 mins. Term 2 PSG meetings will begin in week 5 and conclude in week 11.
PSG meetings provide an opportunity for home and school to come together to review, discuss and collaborate on the supports that are in place for your child.

A NOTE FROM OUR WELLBEING TEAM
We hope you have all settled into the school year, Term One was very busy in the Wellbeing space. Our School Social Worker Kris Millard has commenced our first Peaceful Kids program and is excited to offer this to more students across all year levels in coming terms. Mrs Schmidt, our Pastoral Care Leader and Mental Health in Primary School Practitioner has been busy establishing this new, exciting role.
For any families who may feel like you're needing some extra supports, we have put together the Holy Rosary Parent Supports list. This includes school, community and national support options.
We are also excited to offer our new Parent Resource Library. This library will include a range of popular parenting books for you to borrow for free. Please pop into the office to see Tracy or Helen who can assist with the borrowing process. Current books available include, The Anxious Generation, Ten thing I wish you knew about your child's mental health, No Drama Discipline, and The Whole-Brainchild. This list will grow throughout the year, keep an eye on the newsletter for updates, and if you have an amazing book that you recommend be added to our parent library, please let Kris know!
