Dog House Finds New Owner

Our Year 12 VCE Vocational Major dog house raffle was drawn on Tuesday 13 October. Congratulations to Olivia Pendlebury from 3/4 N, who won the one-of-a-kind dog house built by our VM students! Olivia shared that she would be gifting it to her uncle for his Golden Labrador puppy.

Constructed in our Trades Centre, the dog house formed part of the students’ major project exploring animal welfare and the importance of pet rescue. It gave them an opportunity to put their building skills to work while supporting animals in need.

The raffle raised $350 to support dogs at the Shepparton Animal Shelter.

Thank you to everyone in our school community who purchased tickets and helped make this possible!

We also thank Cobram Mitre 10 and Bunnings Yarrawonga for generously donating the materials, and the staff who helped organise the raffle and sell tickets.

Well done to our Year 12 VCE VM students for their hard work and commitment to making a positive difference.
