Principal's Message
With Mr Keith Willett
Welcome back to all students, families and staff as we begin what promises to be a busy and exciting final stretch of the 2026 school year. It has been wonderful to see our students return with enthusiasm and purpose, ready to embrace the many learning and co-curricular opportunities that lie ahead.
Friday's Junior School Assembly was a wonderful celebration of our inclusive learners. It was pleasing to recognise students who consistently demonstrate kindness, perseverance, respect and a commitment to ensuring that everyone feels valued and connected within our school community.
The week ahead is certainly one of the busiest on our Term 4 calendar. We look forward to:
Grandparents' Day on Friday
These events provide valuable opportunities to celebrate learning, showcase talents and strengthen the connections that make our school community so special.
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of attending the VCE Vocational Major (VM) Presentations. The quality of the presentations was outstanding and reflected the growth and practical learning experiences of our students. They should be immensely proud of their efforts. These presentations were also a testament to the commitment and expertise of their teachers, whose guidance and encouragement have helped students develop both confidence and capability.
On Thursday, we gathered for the Year 12 Farewell Chapel Service, a significant milestone in the journey of our graduating students. The service provided an opportunity to reflect on their years at Cobram Anglican Grammar School, acknowledge the relationships and experiences that have shaped them, and give thanks for their many contributions to our community. It also served as a meaningful precursor to next week's Farewell Assembly, where we will both celebrate and farewell our Year 12 cohort as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
As we approach these important celebrations, we give thanks for the Class of 2026 and all they have brought to our school. Their leadership, service, determination and character have enriched our community in countless ways.
And on Thursday evening in the PAC we hosted family members of the Year 9 and 10 Serving Others Food elective. The students cooked up a veritable storm of delicious and healthy foods. I know that the evening was enjoyed by all and I thank the staff involved who were supporting the students with a very special mention to Mrs Carolyn White and Mrs Elissa Raco.
A Prayer of Gratitude
Loving God,
We thank You for our Year 12 students and for the journey they have shared with us. We are grateful for their gifts, their friendships, their leadership and their contributions to our school community. As they prepare to complete this chapter of their lives, grant them confidence for the challenges ahead, wisdom in their decisions, and courage to pursue their dreams.
May they always remember that they are valued, capable and loved. Bless them in their final weeks of schooling and in all that lies before them.
Amen.
