On 22nd May, a group of Year 6 students attended the Chinese Talent Competition for primary school students in Victoria. This is the 12th Year of the competition, which annually attracts chools across Victoria to showcase their culture and language learning.

This year is the second year for Hampton Primary School to participate in the competition. Out of all schools, our performance “Lion Dance with Drumbeats” won the top prize of Best Overall Performance! The award reflects our school's appreciation of Mandarin language and culture. 

The excellent presentation is especially outstanding because of the hardworking team. Congratulations to Portia, Anya, Phoebe, Isla F, Pierre, Dexter, Will, Jack T, Oliver C, Sienna, Spencer and Gevin.

From setting up a team, choreography and teaching, to transportation, our Art, Music and Language departments and our parent helpers, Sarah, Anna, Jaya, and Yaseen have supported the students to achieve their ambitions.
