National Simultaneous Reading Time

Get Ready for National Simultaneous Storytime 2026!

Australia's biggest collective reading event is almost here, and this year, it's going to literally kick goals! On 27 May, millions of readers across the country and beyond will join in as Elise Kellond-Knight, Matildas legend and international football superstar, reads the 2026 NSS title, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller for StoryBox Hub, written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake A. Minton and published by Little Book Press. Featuring the voices of cheeky galahs Jeff and Gary brought to life by Tom Bainbridge.

Anzac Day

All the children have been looking at the wonderful resources we have in our library. 

Kinder and Stage 1 have been listening to stories - My Grandad Marches on Anzac Day, Midnight and Simpson and his Donkey.

Stage 2 researched The Light Horse Brigade and found some amazing information

Stage 3 have been researching Women and Indigenous People who served in World War 1. They also came across a remarkable group of 2 women who were called The Bluebirds who volunteered their time and services to help in the war.
