The wait is almost over! Here is everything you need to know for our Athletics Carnival this Friday, 1st May.
While registrations for competitive heats are now closed, the day is designed for everyone. We encourage all students to get involved in as many activities as possible to earn points for their house.
A few Reminders…
House Colours - Students are encouraged to wear their house colours. No hair spray or zinc.
Transport:
800m Competitors: Students competing in the 800m must meet at the Church at 8:15 AM for a strict 8:20 AM departure.
Please note: If a student misses this bus, they will be unable to compete in the 800m event.
All Other Students: Students should arrive at school at the normal time. All students will be transported to the venue by bus from the school.
Students can not be dropped off by parents however students can leave with parents at the end of the event but they must be marked off by their teacher.
Food/Hydration: Ensure students bring their foods, lots of water and wear/pack sunscreen.
We look forward to seeing the stands filled with color and hearing the house cheers!
Students in Years 3–6 have the fantastic opportunity to participate in various Gala Days throughout the term. These days are designed as a fun, low-pressure introduction to competitive sports, allowing students to compete against other local schools while focusing on sportsmanship and participation.

On Tuesday, 28th April, five of our talented athletes traveled to represent our school at the State Swimming Championships. Competing against the fastest swimmers in the state is a massive achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication and sportsmanship shown by our team.


Individual Highlights:
A special congratulations to Nate S. for his outstanding individual performances:
Backstroke: Nate achieved a huge Personal Best (PB), placing 6th in the state for Junior Boys!
Butterfly: Nate also put in a strong performance, finishing 18th in the state.




Team Highlights
Our Senior Boys Relay team, Braxton B, Luca F, Asher H, and Hunter S, showed fantastic teamwork and speed in the pool. They competed against a highly competitive field and secured a very impressive 15th place in the state.








Congratulations to all five boys for representing our school with such pride and excellence. Your hard work in the pool has certainly paid off!
We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for students aged 8–12 to get involved in a 4-week AFL program in term 2!
This fun and engaging program will be delivered by qualified AFL staff and is designed to keep kids active, learning and having fun in a safe, non-contact environment.
