Year 10 Work Experience

This week 11 year 10 students started their WOW Health and Community Services program with our local Geelong Regional Local Learning and Employment Network (GRLLEN). This week they undertook CPR training and will later visit one of the major Geelong hospitals plus meet with local health and community services leaders. We wish them all the best for this program as it opens up lots of opportunities in this field.

Congratulations to Evie Campbell who will be undertaking a week of Work Experience at Puckapunyal Army base.

On Tuesday 19th May, all year 10 students will be starting their Introduction to VCE and VM program which includes a school based session prior to heading out to Deakin University for presentations, tours and workshops. This is a very important program and attendance is compulsory. XUNO permission is required for this event. This will be supported by additional activities in Connect this term. Next term a VCE Subject Expo will occur with a parent information night on Tuesday 22nd July. More details to come out later.

Year 12

Yesterday our Year 12 students visited the VCE and Careers Expo in Melbourne. It was a great opportunity to meet and engage with representatives from tertiary institutions, emergency services, GAP year providers and more. We hope our Year 12s continue to seek out and explore their options for 2027 and beyond.
