Term 3 Year 7 Sports
Boys Table Tennis
All games against CAW won. Dropped one game to KCA but 5/6. The team received excellent comments form staff about their sportsmanship.
The end of the rally came down to doubles against KCB – Lyndale won!
The boys are off to Regional Table Tennis in Term 4 - Wednesday 21 October (Week 3). Good luck to the team and BIG thanks to Mrs. Carmichael for training and taking the boys out for sport!
Year 7 Boys Basketball Team
The Year 7 boys made a superb effort at basketball division. Excellent teamwork and sportsmanship at all times contributed to an easy win for EVERY game, including the grand final!
"Well done, and best of luck for regionals!" - Ms Franklin
Year 7 boys’ regional basketball will go to regionals on Friday 30 October 2026 (Week 4) of Term 4.
Year 7 Girls Basketball
The girls began with a bang! They battled out hard without any subs in their first three games before a break. It was only a marginal defeat (2-4) to eventual champions Dandenong High in the fourth match which would damage their unbeaten streak across six matches. Lyndale eventually came in 2nd place overall. A fantastic team effort of Ebony and Cadey who were prolific shooters, Ellen’s strong defense and superb court coverage, and endurance of Sarah and Aisha! Great work! Big thanks to Flynn for taking the team out for sport!
Year 7 Boys Futsal
Our Year 7 team played hard against other Dandenong Division teams, but they did not make the grand final. Well done to all team members who gave it their all on the day. Big thanks to Ms Maxwell for her help with coaching and taking the team out for sport.
Year 7 Girls Futsal
With a slightly smaller team than normal, the Year 7 girls competed at Division Futsal. It was a tough couple of rounds with no subs, however the girls showed resilience and followed through, getting on with the games. Great work to each team member!
