Chevalier Mountain Bike Team 

The Chevalier Mountain bike team attended the 2024 GD Champs at Welby mountain bike tracks on Sunday 24th of November. 

Twelve Chevalier riders started the event which included 3 short courses with electronic timing, each rider was allowed to attempt each course a maximum of five times to achieve their lowest overall aggregate time. The Chevalier riders pushed themselves in challenging, hot conditions with each of them struggling to produce their best lap.

The event had a great atmosphere with fun events like bunny hop and wheelie competitions in between laps, and at the end of two hours of racing the times were in, although we didn’t take the trophy from Oxley College, the Chevalier riders gave all they had with Wilson M. a standout becoming the under 15 boys age champion. 

I would like to thank all our riders for their efforts, and their parents and Mr Iacono for supporting them in the hot conditions. Finally, I would like to thank Meaghan Stanton from Oxley for organising a great event.

Chevalier v Daramalan Waterpolo Challange 

On Monday 25 November Chevalier versed our fellow MSC School Daramalan College in 2 water polo matches! This much-loved event brought plenty of excitement and great sportsmanship, with Chevalier claiming victory in both matches and bringing home the Chandler Cup!

It was an absolute pleasure to host our fellow MSC school for a day of friendly competition. We appreciate the Daramalan team for making the trip from Canberra – we love sharing this fun tradition with them!

ISA Sporting Excellence Award

Casey P (Yr 10) has been honoured with the ISA Sporting Excellence Award, a prestigious accolade recognising outstanding achievements in school sport. 

Casey’s incredible journey includes selection in:

- Boys 15 & Under NSW CIS Secondary Hockey

- Boys 15 & Under NSW All Schools Hockey

- Boys 15 & Under All Australian Boys Hockey

This award celebrates Casey’s dedication, talent, and success in reaching the pinnacle of school sport pathways — selection in an All Australian Team.
