Slam Dunk Success: 

Our intermediate and senior school basketball teams recently participated in an exhilarating interschool competition, showcasing not just their skills but also their sportsmanship and team spirit. Held on Tuesday the 23rd of July at the Selkirk Basketball Stadium, the event brought together teams from schools across Ballarat and the Central Highlands area, creating an atmosphere charged with excitement and friendly rivalry.

Our school's teams, coached diligently by Tahlia Collins and Lydia Brooks, demonstrated exceptional prowess on the court. From precise three-pointers to strategic rebounds and lightning-fast passes, every moment was a testament to their dedication and hours of practice. Each game was a thrilling display of athleticism and determination.

Beyond the scores, what truly stood out was the sportsmanship displayed by our players. Whether celebrating a victory or graciously accepting defeat, they exemplified the values of fair play and respect for their opponents. Our school's team members not only competed fiercely but also bonded with their peers from other schools, fostering new friendships amidst the competition.
