Highlights from Heights

It has been a fantastic start to the term, with all students returning ready to learn and settling back into school routines with ease. It has been wonderful to see calm, focused classrooms and students demonstrating our school values from day one.

A highlight of this week was our whole-school excursion to see Hercules at Springvale Town Hall. Students thoroughly enjoyed the performance and represented our school with pride, showing excellent behaviour and respect throughout the excursion. Experiences like live theatre are so valuable, as they bring stories to life, spark imagination and create a shared sense of excitement and joy.

Students also enjoyed a special treat upon returning to the Heights Campus, with a visit from the ice cream van. The driver commented on the excellent manners shown by our students, which was lovely to hear and a credit to our school community.

A reminder that Breakfast Club runs every day from 8:30am in the Hub. All students and their families are warmly invited to attend, it’s a great way to start the day with a healthy meal and connect with others. Running Club has also started again this term, and we encourage students to run or walk a few laps of the oval before school while enjoying some music. It’s a fun and active way to begin the day.

We are looking forward to another exciting term ahead, filled with engaging learning opportunities, excursions and our Senior Learning Centre (SLC) camp. It’s set to be a great term!
