Principal Report

Term 4 is off to a positive start, with students and staff settled back into learning and school routines. There is plenty to look forward to as we make the most of our final term together.
Planning for 2027 is nearly complete, and we are pleased that Jorja Lirsch and Sarah Birthisel will continue teaching at Oatlands next year. Our staff remain focused on strengthening classroom teaching, curriculum planning and targeted support and extension to help every student grow.
Our inaugural Japan Tour has been a huge success. Highlights included exploring Tokyo, Disneyland, teamLab the Harry Potter exhibition and exploring Hiroshima. It has been wonderful to see this exciting opportunity become a reality for our students. Thank you to Kendall Brown, Deanne Morgan & Rose McClintock for their extensive planning and organisation
Congratulations to our Aths Team for their strong performance at the Casey North Division Athletics and the Southern Metropolitan Regional Athletics events, with our relay teams performing exceptionally well. Good luck to Mila, Amy, Lorenzo and Nivein in the upcoming State Athletics event. Thank you to Tim Werner, Sarah James and Dean McCaughan for preparing and supporting our students.
Other Term 4 highlights include the Grade 4 Adventure Day, Italian Inner City Camp and Regional Hoop Time All Star Girls. We look forward to bringing our community together for the School Fete on Friday 6th November, followed by our Remembrance Day ceremony on Tuesday 10th November.
