Care and Connection

12 Days of Giving - Thank You!

Gallery Image

As you know, over the course of the last month we were participating in Lutheran Care’s ‘12 Days of Giving’ appeal. These items have now been collected, ready to be put into hampers to help those in need this Christmas.

Imagine our surprise when all the gifts were placed under the Christmas tree in the school’s front office... Boxes and bags were filled to the brim! Check out our Facebook page for a quick video!

We were abundantly blessed by the amazing generosity of our Good Shepherd School and ELC... A huge thank you to everyone who gave what they could. Please know that your love and care that you showed in this way, will be a blessing to all who receive the hampers. God bless you... And thank you!

Do you like camping and sharing time with other people who like to have fun? Here’s an idea! SPIN is a four-day, three-night, statewide camp in January (13th-16th) for young people in years 4-6 (in 2025) to experience an inclusive and encouraging community and grow in relationship with Jesus and others.

This year’s theme is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’. Significant sponsorship is offered to first time campers by the LLL (You just pay $50). For those who have attended this camp before, Good Shepherd Congregation offers a subsidy, just ask Georgie. The camp is held at Camp Kedron, Barmera (Riverland SA).

For more information, contact Georgie here, or head to SPIN to register.

Coffee and Connect

What’s on your mind... Stage 3 camp? Foundation Transition? Other end of year events?

There seems to be so much on, take a little time to smell the coffee! Of course, we will have tea on offer as well... A time to connect with others and talk about what you have on your plate.

Join us from 8:30am in the church café. You might like to invite someone along... You never know how you might change someone’s day (for the better) just by turning up and having a chat!

Enter via the courtyard. Toddlers are welcome (there is a small playground for them to play in; we just ask that you keep an eye on them for safety reasons)

Love to see you tomorrow!

KAPS... This Weekend!

Our final KAPS event for the year is sure to get us in the Christmas spirit, with our theme being ‘Christmas in November’. This one is not only Years 2-7... Foundation and all Stage One students are welcome! Younger siblings too! Pop it in your diary now.

Sunday November 30th

4pm to 6:45pm (Slightly longer time).
