Student of the Week

Evie Sedgwick - Evie, you should be so proud of the hard work you have been putting into your reading. It is clear that you kept practising over the holidays because your progress has been fantastic, you are a true reading superstar! It is also wonderful to see how curious you are and how often you ask thoughtful questions in class. Your curiosity helps everyone in Foundation B learn, and we are so lucky to have such an enthusiastic learner like you in our classroom. Keep up the amazing work, Evie!

Hazel Banfield - Hazel, what a wonderful job you have been doing during paired reading! You are such a thoughtful partner, always listening carefully and encouraging your reading buddy. It has been fantastic to see the effort you are putting into your own reading too, and you should be so proud of how much you are growing in confidence. You are such a kind and caring friend who is always willing to help others, and you are a wonderful helper in our classroom. We especially love seeing your curiosity shine as you ask questions, discover new things, and light up with a big smile when you are proud of yourself and your learning. Keep up the fantastic work, Hazel! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see all the amazing things you continue to achieve.

Sam Hiltoro - Congratulations Sam! What an amazing job you have done with your learning this week! You are a reading rockstar and have been challenging yourself with your writing, taking on teacher feedback and growing your skills every day. You should be so proud! You give your very best effort in everything you do, and it is wonderful to hear your thoughtful ideas and contributions during our class discussions. Akki Ahlawat - Akki, what a terrific start to the term you have had! You have been working so hard and approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and determination - particularly with writing this week! Leo Pesoli - Leo, your curiosity, eagerness to learn, and determination to always do your best have been wonderful to see. The detail and effort you put into your holiday recount made it a joy to read and showed the care you take in your learning. You approach every challenge with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to give everything your best effort. Sophie Currie - Congratulations on being our Student of the Week Sophie! You are such a wonderful role model for your classmates, always showing respect and responsibility in everything you do. Huxley Fabre - For your amazing skip counting of 2s, 5s and 10s and your knowledge of your 10s timestables. You are a maths wiz. Keep on being you Hux - you are a gem!

Alex Williams - For your fantastic effort and determination during our Maths lessons. You have worked hard to practise your times tables, stayed focused, and shown great persistence when learning new multiplication facts. Eva Essex - For making a wonderful start to Term 3 and always trying your very best. I have been so proud of the effort and determination you have shown, especially during our writing lessons this week. Jonah, you have approached your days with positivity and enthusiasm so far this term, and this mindset has continued into your learning tasks, which you’ve completed with great effort and increased detail. Maddie McQuilken - Maddie, well done on consistently showing the courage to give your best effort and the curiosity to explore new ideas and knowledge. Your focus is outstanding, especially throughout your Term 2 Lit Circles, where you completed every task to a very high standard. You listened attentively and participated actively, bringing great insight and enthusiasm to your group meetings. You are a thoughtful and caring member of our class, and you should feel immensely proud of both the person and student you are.
