Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Last Friday, our school was filled with excitement as we welcomed our much-loved grandparents and special friends to St Joseph’s for a wonderful morning of celebration, connection and togetherness.
We began with a beautiful Mass led by our Prep students, who did an incredible job sharing their faith with our school community. It was lovely to see students sitting alongside their grandparents and special friends during Mass and proudly welcoming them into our school.
Following Mass, our guests visited the learning spaces, where they spent time completing activities, sharing stories and enjoying a glimpse into the children’s learning. The classrooms were filled with smiles, laughter and special conversations as students proudly shared their work and school experiences.
Our grandparents and special friends then gathered for a delicious shared morning tea. A very special thank you to the many families who generously baked and contributed food. The wonderful selection of treats was greatly appreciated and helped make the morning tea such a warm and welcoming occasion.
Most importantly, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the grandparents and special friends who joined us. Your love, wisdom, encouragement and presence play such an important role in the lives of our students. It was a truly memorable morning, and we feel very grateful to have shared it with you.
