Planning for the VSC Podcast

Film Crew students have been busy planning the exciting next stage of the VSC Podcast. During recent meetings, students worked collaboratively to explore solutions to potential challenges and develop a clear plan for moving the project forward.

With several creative projects underway, the team agreed to prioritise the podcast, discussing how it could be managed within limited lunchtime sessions. Students considered technical aspects such as recording equipment, studio setup, and selecting the most suitable platform for publishing episodes. They also brainstormed ideas for future guests from across the VSC community and explored ways to ensure the podcast reflects the interests and voices of our school.

The planning process has encouraged students to take an active role in decision-making while revising important media production skills. Throughout the discussions, students have demonstrated creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration as they considered different production roles and worked together to overcome challenges.

Beyond developing technical media skills, the project is providing valuable opportunities to strengthen communication, teamwork, cooperation, and the confidence to work with new people. We look forward to sharing the first episodes of the VSC Podcast with our school community in the near future.
