Term 4 Co-Curricular

Co-curricular Woodwork

During our second cycle of Co-curricular Electives those students that selected Woodwork have been completing simple projects that they can use at home every day. The idea is that they complete each project in one Co-curricular session so that students can consistently complete work and take it home. Our projects for this 5-week cycle have included:

• Week 1 – Bird Houses
• Week 2 – Toolboxes
• Week 3 – Flower Boxes
• Week 4 – Crate Chairs
• Week 5 – (Next week) Children’s Toy

Students appear to have gained value from the project each week, and they have certainly improved their sawing, planing, sanding, nailing and construction skills.
