Sporting News

Preston High students are proving a talented bunch on the sporting fields this term, with more than 80 qualifying to represent our school in regional events as winter takes hold. Sports divisional successes so far include:

• The Year 11/12 Boys Table-Tennis team qualifying for the regionals, set for week 2 of Term 3. 
• The Year 9/10 girls netball team and the Year 7/8 boys netball winning their division events to qualify for the regionals next term. 
• The Year 8 Boys soccer team blitzing their division event to qualify for the regional event in week 5. 
• We have 26 students who have qualified to take part in the regional cross-country event which is taking place on Wednesday next week (19 June). 
• Another 23 students qualified for the regional athletics competition in week 8 of Term 3 after their performances at the division competition.
