2025 Premiers’ Reading Challenge is now OPEN

The Challenge is open to all Victorian children from birth to Year 10 and aims to help young readers develop a lifelong love of reading. 

This year the Challenge celebrates its 20th anniversary with the theme, ‘20 years of words and wonder’, and a year of special activities.  There will be prizes for the first student and class to complete the Challenge.      

More than 4.5 million students have read over 63 million books since the Challenge started in 2005.

The Challenge encourages families and students to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online, promoting the importance of reading for literacy development.    

Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement upon completion of the Challenge.    

The closing date is 5 September 2025.

I have registered every student, and each student has their own USERNAME and PASSWORD.  Your child's teacher will send these out to you.
