We are pleased to announce the release of our new Senior School Handbook, a valuable resource for students and families understanding their journey through the Senior Secondary Year here at Highvale Secondary College.

The handbook includes information on Senior School staffing, Student expectations, Pathways and Transitions through Senior Secondary schooling, the College Mobile Phone policy, and Students driving to school. This exists alongside significant detail around the processes and policies applied to VCE studies, including:

• Award of the VCE or VCE Vocational Major

• Details around Study Scores and ATARs

• School Assessed Coursework

• Redeeming of Outcomes in VCE studies

• Policies around plagiarism and extension of assessment due dates

• VCE Authentication policy and process

• Standards of student attendance

   

Students and families are encouraged to read the handbook carefully and use it as a guide as you progress throughout your final years of schooling.

The Senior School Handbook will be shared via the Compass Newsfeed and will also be available on the College website for easy access.
