New Parking Signs and Road Safety Reminder

Following multiple inspections and review of the area, City of Monash have installed additional No Stopping signs around the intersection to improve the visibility of existing parking restrictions and assist with traffic flow and pedestrian safety.

The City of Monash would like to remind all parents and carers to observe parking restrictions and road rules when dropping off and picking up students.

Please be mindful that stopping in No Stopping zones, near intersections, driveways, pedestrian crossings, or other restricted areas can create significant safety risks for students, pedestrians and other road users, as well as contribute to traffic congestion.

To help keep everyone safe, please:

• Obey all parking and traffic signs

• Avoid stopping in No Stopping zones, even for a short period

• Be considerate of local residents and other road users

• Allow extra travel time during busy school drop-off and pick-up periods.
