Student Enrolment

As we plan for 2027, every enrolment plays an important role in helping us provide the best possible learning and boarding experience for our students. Staffing, class structures, programs and resources are carefully planned around our student numbers. 

If your family is considering withdrawing a student from Great Southern Grammar, please keep the following notice periods in mind: 

• Day Students: One full term’s written notice to the Principal is required before withdrawal, including students leaving at the end of the year. Default of the required notice may result in one-half of a term's tuition fee in lieu of notice. 

• Boarding Students: Two full terms' written notice to the Principal is required before withdrawal, including students leaving at the end of the year or transferring to day student status. Default of the required notice may result in one term's boarding fees in lieu of notice. 

   

We appreciate your support in providing the required notice, as it helps us plan effectively and ensure the best possible learning and boarding experience for all students and families in our community. 

Spare Parts Regional Tour

Students from Years Two, Three and Seven were in for a big treat this week as they were the audience for Spare Parts' touring show, Level Up. The show featured a great variety of puppetry and special effects and explored themes of growing up, friendship and the pulls between the real world and the virtual world.

Our Year Eight Drama class was also able to attend. Performers Tristan McInnes and Lucy Wong delivered this very engaging and relevant play. Students were bursting with questions at the end, from how the puppets were made to how the performers managed to keep in time.

Whole School Arts Exhibition 'Our Place'

Please come along to the Annette Knight Centre on Sunday between 11.00am and 3.00pm to enjoy all the students' creative work. 

We will hold our official launch at 2.00pm.

Artwork Pledge Opportunity

As part of the exhibition, members of our school community are invited to support the acquisition of Once More With Feeling, a beautiful hand-coloured collagraph print by our 2026 artist-in-residence, Laura Newbury, for Great Southern Grammar's permanent collection. We are hoping to raise $2,200 to purchase this piece of artwork.

If you would like to contribute, please complete the form here to make a pledge. 

If sufficient funds are raised, contributors will be invoiced for their nominated contribution at a later date.

Valedictory Awards Ceremony: Community Invitation

The Great Southern Grammar community is warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026 at the Year Twelve Valedictory Awards Ceremony. This special occasion provides an opportunity to recognise our graduating students, reflect on their journey, and wish them every success for the future.

Uniform Shop

The Uniform Shop will be opening shorter hours on the following days:

Monday 14 September - 8.00am to 11.30am

Wednesday 16 September - 8.00am to 11.30am

Back to normal hours the following week.
