Around the College

A group of students travelled to Melbourne to visit the Richmond Football Club in the lead up to AFL & AFLW Sir Doug Nicholls rounds to learn, connect and meet some of their star players.

The AFL & AFLW host the Sir Doug Nicholls celebration over two rounds:

Round 10 (15–18 May) and Round 11 (22–25 May) - honouring the extraordinary contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players, cultures, and communities to Australian football. This takes place in the lead up to National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June).

A big thank you to the Korin Gamadji Institute for providing this opportunity for our students who proudly represented themselves and St Anne’s College.

In Term 2 the Foundation students will be having a workshop with Clancy Lester as part of their inquiry learning. 

Clancy has asked for a call out for some materials to help with the workshop.
