Music Update 

In 2024, our incredible parent band Lunchbox20 raised $4650 to support the EPS music program. I’m delighted to share an update on how these funds are already making a difference at EPS.

So far, we’ve used part of the funds to upgrade our amplifiers, keyboards, electric guitars, and bass guitars which are predominantly used by our Year 5 and 6 rock band students. Our extra-curricular music program at EPS is growing once again with close to 50 Year 5/6 students signing up for the lunchtime Rock Band sessions and over 65 Year 3-6 students joining our lunchtime Choir sessions.

Additionally, we’ve purchased new hand percussion and tuned percussion instruments which will be available for all EPS students to use and enjoy. There are still plenty of funds remaining and I’m looking forward to acquiring even more instruments and musical resources that will benefit all EPS students throughout their Performing Arts journey from Prep to Year 6.
