On Wednesday, students participated in the annual House Cross Country event, a fantastic display of determination, teamwork, and house spirit. Students took on the challenge at Elsternwick Park, running either 2km or 3km, depending on their age group.
With six races throughout the day, every runner gave their best effort, showing resilience and perseverance. The support from fellow students, teachers, and spectators was incredible, creating an encouraging atmosphere for all competitors. There were some thrilling finishes, impressive displays of endurance, and a strong sense of camaraderie across all houses.
The competition was extremely close, but in the end, Murphy House emerged victorious! Congratulations to all Murphy students for their outstanding performance. A special mention goes to those who qualified for the district cross country team, keep training over the holidays to be ready for the next challenge.
Thank you to all staff and volunteers who helped make the event such a success. Well, done to every student who participated—you should all be proud of your efforts. Enjoy a well-earned break!
