Outdoor Education Camp

Our Year 12 Outdoor and Environmental Studies class recently traded the classroom for the rugged coastline of the Otways, embarking on an unforgettable five-day expedition.
The journey began at Shelley Beach in Apollo Bay, where we shouldered our packs to navigate a demanding 50km trek along the Great Ocean Walk, eventually reaching shores of Johanna Beach. From observing native flora and fauna to reflecting on early European settlement impacts, the hike provided a living textbook of human-nature relationships.
We capped off the week by catching waves in Torquay, the spiritual home of Australian surfing, where we tested our physical limits and celebrated the end of a grueling but rewarding trip.
