Class Clowns!

 https://classclowns.com.au/ - Is Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s national development program for young people. It's totally free to participate for teens aged 14-18, and includes a creative workshop with a professional comedian, using artistic activities to hone comedic talent and build self-esteem, confidence and resilience.  Also a national competition, we head all over the country to uncover Australia’s funniest teens!  Students attend a 2-hour workshop to rehearse and refine their act, then get an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.

Registrations are now open for Class Clowns nationally, with Melbourne workshops and heats on Fri 13 and Sat 14 Mar at Arts Centre Melbourne. We encourage your students to give it a go!

Selected students from heats go on to compete in state finals, with the winners invited to participate in the National Grand Final for a chance to win a cash prize of $1500, and a workshop package for their school!
