If you are new to the Lyndale SC community, have not applied before, and hold a valid means-tested concession card, you may be eligible for the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) to help cover the costs of school trips, camps, and sporting activities.

 

This funding is also available to temporary foster parents, asylum seeker or refugee families, and students aged 16 and over who are considered mature minors with their own valid card.

Monday: 

Lote Club

Discover the vibrant world of the Chinese Culture Club! We offer an immersive experience into Chinese traditions, featuring activities on calligraphy, Chinese painting, Chinese paper cutting, and Peking Opera make painting. Join us to celebrate major festivals like Chinese New Year with authentic new year decoration activity.

Chess Club 

Lunchtime chess club provides students with a welcoming, low-pressure space to challenge themselves intellectually while connecting with peers. Chess builds critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills, encouraging students to think ahead, analyse consequences, and learn from mistakes.

 

🏀 Basketball on Mondays with coach AJ

Two days of hoops! Bring your mates for casual game or show off your skills. 

Big energy, big fun!

 

Tuesday:

The Polyglot (LOTE) Club 

📍 Where: B3

Learn the basics of languages spoken around the world. *BYO laptop

The Polyglot Club is organised for students to engage in learning a new language each term using a designated online resource with a game-like approach. Laptops are essential for each session. Choose a language spoken from any of the continents and open the window to a new cultural experience!

 

Wednesday: 

Maths Club 

📍 Where: S1

Need assistance with Maths, struggling to understand the formulas. Mr Vanderlely will be in S1 to help you!

Technology Club

Want to 3D design your own custom gear? Join us to create personalised bag tags and keyrings using our 3D Printers. No experience needed—just bring your lunch and your ideas!

Afterschool Workshops / Clubs

Study Support Group (Homework Club)

We are running our Study Support Group (previously known as Homework Club) on Monday and Thursday afternoons in the Senior School Building.

 

All students are welcome to join and benefit from our Experienced TUTORS

 

When: Monday & Thursday 3.15pm - 4.30pm

Where: Senior School Building (Rooms S6 and S7)

Why: Experienced Tutors or Teachers can assist with extra support to all attendees. 

We look forward to seeing you all there!

 

 

School Production Workshop 

Thursdays After School: Workshops for the school production are up and running. If you like acting, writing, singing, music, design or costume, come and join us on Thursday afternoons from 3.15 until 4.30
