2026 Wombat & Karak Camp

Wombat & Karak Class Camp

Week 2 was full of excitement as the Wombat and Karak classes headed off to camp at Point Walter Reserve! For three wonderful days, students, teachers, and parent helpers enjoyed beautiful sunny weather, stunning scenery and lots of fun team-building activities.

Winter R shared her favourite parts of camp:

“The high ropes were the highlight of my camp adventure! The ropes were as tall as the ceiling, and I was very motivated to get to the top — and I did! My next favourite activity was mountain biking. We rode along a beautiful bike trail that led up to ‘The View’, where we saw an underwater cave and lots of jellyfish. I also loved staying in the dorms. We played card games and spotlight, and the food was delicious! My favourite meal was the homemade ham and cheese pizza, and we even had popcorn on movie night.”

It sounds like camp was an unforgettable adventure filled with courage, fun and fantastic memories for everyone involved. We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the teachers and volunteers whose dedication and enthusiasm made camp such an enriching experience for our students.
