Principal's Report

Welcome back to all our Pioneer Village School families. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful break over the long school holidays and found time to rest, reconnect, and recharge. It has been fantastic to see our students return with such enthusiasm, ready to learn and eager to embrace the year ahead.
As the new principal of Pioneer Village School, I’m excited to be joining this vibrant community. Outside of school, I love caravanning with my family, getting out on the road and exploring new places. Sport has always been a big part of my life — I was a PE teacher for many years, and I’m a passionate West Coast Eagles supporter. I also have four children, and life with them and my wife is busy, exciting and not to mention a bit chaotic!
A fond memory for me is coming to Pioneer Village ...so coming into this role feels like taking a walk down memory lane.
We are also delighted to welcome several new staff members to our team this year. Each brings valuable experience, fresh perspectives, and a genuine commitment to supporting our students. Their transition into the PVS community has been seamless, and I know they will make a positive impact across our school.
The staff at Pioneer Village School are excited to welcome you to a new school year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and engage. Even though we are only partway through Term 1, it has already been a busy and vibrant start. From classroom learning to whole-school events, our students have shown fantastic effort in establishing strong routines and upholding our school values. Their positivity, perseverance, and pride in their learning have been evident in every corner of the school.
Miss B finishes her time with us this term, and we want to acknowledge the wonderful contribution she has made to our front office over the past three years. She has supported our families and students with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, while also doing an exceptional job running our uniform shop and promoting the many great things happening at Pioneer Village School. We thank Miss B for everything she has given to our community and wish her all the very best in her future endeavours.
Thank you to our families for your ongoing support. A strong partnership between home and school makes an enormous difference, and we look forward to continuing this journey together throughout the year.
