JERSEY UPDATE
Moving forward students who receive a jersey for any upcoming trial, gala day or interschool sport will be recorded as proof of this borrowing method. This will allow our school to continue to use these jerseys and have enough for all students to wear and represent our school proudly at the many sporting events we provide to all students. Once jerseys are washed and returned to the school office, our staff will mark that the jersey has been returned. Any jerseys not returned will incur a fee to replace this jersey.
Please check the wardrobes at home and return any jerseys of any style (singlet, soccer jersey or footy jersey) which belongs to the school. Thank you for the cooperation with this matter.
Interschool Sport
We have wrapped up our Interschool Sport for the year. A big congratulations to our year 4 students for doing such an amazing job at the rescheduled league tag gala day! Everyone had a great day all while displaying wonderful sportsmanship.
We hope everyone enjoyed the opportunities they are given with Interschool Sport. We will provide more information about what's happening in 2025 in the coming weeks.
Swimming Carnival 2025
The Annual School Swimming Carnival for Years 3-6 will be held on Thursday 6th November 2025 at Engadine Swimming Pool. The carnival is a fun, school event but also acts as a trial for the Conference 3 Swimming event which will be held on Monday 9th February 2026. In the past all of Year 2 attended the swimming carnival but for 2025 only advanced Year 2 swimmers are invited. Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students will be participating in a ‘’splash’’ water activities day at school on the same day as the 3-6 swimming carnival. Please see the attached note and provide consent via COMPASS. Nominations have now closed for the timed races as heat sheets are being finalised.
The K-2 splash day will finish before lunch time and any parents wishing to watch older siblings at the carnival can chose to make their way directly to the pool.
Representative Trials
On Monday we had Cyrus and Xavier attend our conference 3 cricket trials. It was an exciting day with the NSW team training at the same venue. The boys got to meet some of their heroes! We wish them all the best with the results of the selection process.
