Primary Ulverstone Student Leaders

Hi everyone!

As two of your Year 6 leaders, we are excited to share what’s been happening in our school, what’s coming up next and a bible verse.

Lego Brixhibition:

Our Lego Brixhibition was a fun, enjoyable event that the whole of primary was involved in. We had lots of unique designs from all year groups. It was a fun little competition with results still to come.

Year 7 2027 Taster Day and Information Night:

Our Year 6s stepped into the future with our Year 7 Information Night and the Taster Day. This has inspired our Year 6s that Year 7 isn’t a scary place; it will a big, fun adventure. We can’t wait!

Indoor Lunches:

With the turning of the weather to a new season, the wet weather has kept us indoors but we have made the most of it. All through the primary school classrooms you can see that we have made a poster to do what is safe and considerate of others.

National Simultaneous Storytime:

For the National Simultaneous Storytime, we read Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd. It was a book that inspires kids to show you’re not too little for anything.

Year 6 Camp:

Our Year 6 camp is an amazing event where the Year 6s from Ulverstone and Burnie campus join to go to Hobart (a great opportunity) to see lots of fun things like Parliament and the Richmond lolly shop. It will be a fun trip.

Bible Verse:

We like this verse because it reminds us to always trust in the Lord even when times are hard or when times are good. We always want to trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
