Grade 5/6

This week in Grade 5/6 students have been writing persuasive texts. They have revisited the structure and learned how to extend their writing by adding persuasive writing techniques to make their writing more interesting. Students have also been engaging in free creative writing on Fridays and have been excited to share what they have been working on to the class by giving class presentations, showcasing their writing on the TV.

In Maths, students have been learning about angles. They have extended their knowledge of angles and their properties, using protractors to measure and calculate different types of angles and further learning about different types of angles and their properties.
