Music @ MMCRC

The Guitar Program has been busy this term, with students strengthening their performance skills through practice, lessons, and ensemble rehearsals. They’ve worked on contemporary and classic pieces while improving technique, rhythm, chord changes, and confidence.

It has been encouraging to see students supporting one another during rehearsals and demonstrating increased commitment to their musical growth. We look forward to showcasing the hard work of our guitar students at upcoming performances in Term 3.

Instrumental students are also eagerly anticipating the annual Music Camp, which will take place during the final week of term. Over two days, students will be released from classes to participate in intensive rehearsals, workshops, and ensemble activities designed to further develop their musical skills while enjoying the opportunity to collaborate with fellow musicians across the College. This is a daily incursion at MMCRC, with no overnight stay.
