National Simultaneous Storytime

On Wednesday it was National Simultaneous Storytime and our PVS students enjoyed watching the story Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd. The story is linked to the upcoming soccer World Cup and is all about belonging, inner strength and perseverance. Classrooms completed a range of activities linked to the story such as designing their own soccer kit, drawing the main character of Luna Roo or using the story to discuss personal qualities and school values. 

We loved this story and can't wait to read some of the others in the series to inspire children who love sports to sit down with a book.
