Friday Club Spotlight - Coding with Mr R

The PVS Coding Club runs every Friday afternoon after lunch and provides students with an exciting opportunity to explore the world of coding and technology in a fun and engaging environment.
Students learn a range of coding skills, from basic programming concepts through to more advanced coding techniques, using a variety of digital resources and technologies. Throughout the sessions, students work with laptops and programs such as Scratch, MakeWonder, and Spike LEGO® Education to develop their creativity, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills.
Students also have the opportunity to use Dash Bots and LEGO® SPIKE kits, allowing them to bring their coding to life through hands-on challenges and activities. Coding Club encourages teamwork, resilience, creativity, and innovation while helping students build confidence with emerging technologies in an enjoyable and supportive setting.
