On the Green Choral Performance and Workshop with Ben Lee
Students from Canzona, Ragazzi, and Ciao Bella will have the exciting opportunity to perform alongside acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Ben Lee at our annual On the Green event on Sunday 2 August.
As part of this special collaboration, choir members are invited to participate in an exclusive workshop and rehearsal with Ben in the Assembly Hall from 9:00 am to 10:00am before the afternoon performance.
This promises to be a memorable musical experience, and we look forward to a wonderful day of learning, collaboration and performance.
Dance Classes
Irish dancing classes for all students:
- Day: Wednesday afternoons
- Location: Drama Room
- Time: 3:15pm to 4:00pm
Dance Troupe for experienced dancers Year 5 and above:
- Day: Monday mornings from Week 3
- Location: Drama Room
- Time: 7:00am to 8:00am
The Scene Project - Queensland Theatre
Our Year 9 and 10 Drama students recently participated in The Scene Project at Queensland Theatre, where they devised and performed their own interpretation of Icarus. Drawing on the themes and story of the original script, students collaborated to create a unique performance while developing their skills in acting, storytelling and ensemble work. Congratulations to all involved for their creativity, commitment and outstanding representation of Clayfield College throughout this rewarding experience.
