Since graduating, Reese has established herself as one of Queensland's emerging rugby leaders. A proud Gamilaroi/Kunja woman, she has captained the Australian Schoolgirls Rugby Sevens team, the Queensland Reds Next Gen Sevens squad and the Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development team across three consecutive years. She also earned selection in the inaugural First Nations Women's Caslick Cup team, highlighting her commitment to representing and inspiring her community.

Now training within the Queensland Academy of Sport and Queensland Reds Sevens program, Reese has her sights firmly set on Olympic selection. Alongside her playing commitments, she is studying to become a Health and Physical Education teacher after receiving a Pearl Duncan Scholarship, becoming the first member of her family to attend university.

Reese's passion for growing the game has also seen her appointed as the Women's Pathway Development Officer at GPS Rugby Club, where she works with schools and local communities to encourage more girls to take up rugby. Her leadership extends far beyond the field, reflecting the same character, resilience and service that made her an exceptional Sports Captain at Clayfield College.

The Clayfield College community is incredibly proud to see Reese continue to forge new pathways in women's rugby while inspiring the next generation of athletes to pursue their dreams with courage and determination.
