PAT Testing
Our students will be completing their annual PAT assessments this week and next. These assessments provide valuable information about each student’s learning and progress over time. We use the results to identify areas of strength and areas where further support may be needed across individual students and year-level cohorts.
PAT is a computer-adaptive assessment, similar in some ways to NAPLAN, which adjusts the questions based on each student’s responses. The results help us understand where students are currently working in relation to expected standards and, when considered alongside classroom assessments and other data, give us a more complete picture of each child’s learning needs and growth.
