Prep 2026 Enrolments - We're Here to Help!

Is your child starting their school journey with us in 2026?

We're absolutely delighted that so many families are choosing our school for their child's Prep year! As we begin planning for what promises to be another wonderful year, we'd love to hear from any families who are still finalising their Prep 2026 enrolment. We know that there are a number of current VPS families who haven't submitted their enrolment forms yet. We encourage you to submit them to us as soon as possible.

If you've been meaning to submit your child's enrolment form, there's no need to worry. We understand that life gets busy, especially with young children! We're still very much looking forward to welcoming your child into our school community.

Why we'd love to hear from you as soon as possible:

• We have already started planning for our transition sessions and thinking towards the 2026 school year;

• It helps us plan the perfect learning environment for all our new Prep students;

• We can ensure we have adequate staffing and resources in place;

• Early confirmation allows us to begin building connections with families before the school year starts;

• We can keep you informed about our exciting transition program.

Getting your enrolment sorted is easy: 

Simply drop your completed form into the office, email it to valkstone.ps@education.vic.gov.au or give us a call if you need a new copy or have any questions. Our friendly office team is always happy to help guide you through the process. When submitting your child's enrolment form, please also include a copy of your child's birth certificate/passport, immunisation records and, if your child was born overseas, a copy of their visa.
