Dear St Martha’s Families

It was wonderful to see many of you at this past week’s pilgrimage, retreats, and parent workshops.

It was such a great joy to see a packed St Mary’s Cathedral last Thursday night for Mass, Fr Alar’s talk and Adoration, and it was beautiful to have even former St Martha’s Parents join us in our Pilgrimage to St Mary’s Cathedral last Friday.

Thank you!

Many thanks to the Parents who attended our General P&F Meeting led by Mrs Parsell and the P&F Executive Committee this morning. A huge thank you to the P&F Committee and all Parent Volunteers for your constant and great support!

If any of you (Parents and Grandparents) would like to volunteer to help out at some (or one) of the upcoming initiatives (such as the Father’s Day Breakfast or Disco) please email elena.razzoli@syd.catholic.edu.au at any time. Could you please write Parent Volunteer in your email’s subject line? Thank you 🙂

Solemnity of Pentecost

This weekend (50 days after Easter), we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost: the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Mary and the Apostles.

I would like to invite you all to sit down with a cup of coffee (or tea) this weekend, and enjoy this reflection on Espresso Prayers.

Let’s keep in our prayers the children who are preparing for their upcoming Confirmation which is taking place on Friday 13 June.

Here is a video on Pentecost you might like to watch with your children this weekend when we celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost:
